Who is VaxFlow built for?

Pediatric practices and health systems that manage vaccine inventory across office teams. Office staff use it for counts, delivery records, and ordering review; network leaders use it to see where support is needed.

Does it require an EHR integration?

No. The inventory workflow starts with vaccine counts, delivery records, and aggregate utilization data. Teams can enter counts directly or review a supported inventory upload.

Can we manage commercial and VFC inventory?

Yes. Commercial and Vaccines for Children (VFC) inventory are tracked separately, with side-by-side counts and recommendations for the office team to review.

Does VaxFlow place orders for us?

No. VaxFlow provides order recommendations. Your team reviews them, places orders through its existing suppliers or state program, and records the activity in VaxFlow.

What if a count is missing or out of date?

The app shows count freshness and flags missing or overdue counts. It distinguishes stock concerns based on recent counts from estimates and lines that are too old to assess, so teams can see when a recount is needed.

Do you need patient-level clinical records?

No. This workflow uses vaccine inventory records and aggregate utilization. Patient names, medical records, and patient identifiers are not required. Read the data-handling overview.

How would we evaluate a pilot?

We would define the participating offices, baseline, measurement period, and outcomes with your team. Inventory held, realized purchasing changes, waste, and staff time need their own measures. See how we evaluate results.
